Alice B. Davis - Dorm Counselor (wife of John R. Davis) Alice Blankman Davis, 81, passed away March 3, 2011. She was born August 29, 1929 in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late John and Jenny Jacobz Blankman. She was preceded by her parents; her husband, John R. Davis; and sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Davis. She is survived by her sister, Henrietta DuBois of Hoffman Estates, Ill and Katherine Michaels and husband George of Raleigh; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Norman Davis and wife Vivian of Rocky Mount; nephew, Scott Davis and wife Ashley of Rocky Mount; and numerous other nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held 3 pm Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090 or to the Arthritis Foundation, 4530 Park Road, Suite 230, Charlotte, NC 28209.
