Johnan Lee '62

From the Panama City News Herald ~ May 23, 1983

Johnan Runa McKissick, 38, of 719 N. Ninth Plaza, died Sunday morning in a local hospital.  She was a native of North Dakota, and had been a resident here since 1957.  Mrs. McKissick was a department manager with K-Mart and a member of the Calloway Assembly of God Church.  Survivors include her father, Victor M. Lee of Parker; two daughters, Jacqueline Lee McKissick and Mary Runa McKissick, both of Parker; one son, Kenneth Wayne Walker of Parker; one brother, Stevan Lee of Pensacola; and her grandmother, Mrs. John Freeman of Panama City.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Smith Funeral Home.  The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Alice Phillips, 1914 Dewitt St.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnan Runa McKissick, who died Sunday, will be held today at 1:pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don E. Price officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be: Philip Griffitts, Frank McKeithen, Oscar Randall, Ed Hiteshew, Kenny Skogen and Jeff Hale.  Honorary pallbearers will be: the management and employees of K-Mart.
